Deep Hues, With Lots Of Shadows

When directing the movie Blade Runner, Director Ridley Scott wanted his scenes to be lit in deep hues, with lots of shadows and otherworldly colors. Scott says much of his inspiration for design direction came from Edward Hopper’s famous painting, Nighthawks.
