This Thing Is Not Actually Blue...

Here is an interesting fact about the Blue Kingfisher. The vibrant blue feathers aren't actually blue. They are brown. We perceive the bright blue color due to a phenomenon called structural coloration.
Structural coloration is seen throughout the animal kingdom, making creatures appear much more colorful than they actually are.
