Waiting For Something To Come Along

Calm Your Mind

I don’t do a lot of macro but every once in a while its fun to play with. Here is what I believe to be a form of Leaf Cutting Bee (Megachile Chelostomoides) I found hanging out on some Butterfly Weed flowers. I was walking through the field looking for anything pretty to photograph insects on and I came upon this single flaming orange cluster of flowers so I sat down and waited for anything to come along. This guy was thankfully much slower moving than the dozens of honeybees frequenting this bush. I really liked the coloration of the insect and the really cool pattern in the eye also.
