When Sunlight Doesn't Get Scattered

When Sunlight Doesn't Get Scattered

The air in the winter is arid. Itโ€™s also cold, and the cold air canโ€™t hold as much water vapor, thus creating tiny water droplets. The low sun angle and lack of moisture mean sunlight doesnโ€™t get scattered as much before reaching our eyes. This results in the sky appearing a brighter blue.
