When Sunlight Doesn't Get Scattered
When Sunlight Doesn't Get Scattered

The air in the winter is arid. It’s also cold, and the cold air can’t hold as much water vapor, thus creating tiny water droplets. The low sun angle and lack of moisture mean sunlight doesn’t get scattered as much before reaching our eyes. This results in the sky appearing a brighter blue.
